About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Informatica Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise data integration and management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica technologies, data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data integration.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, enterprise architects, and technical teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that support business and analytical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise data integration architectures using Informatica technologies.
- Lead the development of ETL/ELT workflows, data pipelines, and data transformation processes.
- Define data integration standards, architecture patterns, best practices, and reusable components.
- Develop and optimize data workflows to ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and data quality.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cloud applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Work with cloud data platforms and data warehouses to support enterprise data management initiatives.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, solution architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Establish data governance, metadata management, data lineage, security, and compliance practices.
- Troubleshoot complex data integration issues and provide technical leadership for their resolution.
- Conduct code reviews, architectural assessments, technical documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Mentor development teams and ensure adherence to established architecture and coding standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, data engineering, or enterprise data management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Expertise in ETL/ELT design, data transformation, data mapping, workflow development, and scheduling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience designing scalable data integration solutions for complex enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data modeling principles.
- Experience with data quality, data profiling, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of data security, governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Informatica IDMC cloud services, including Cloud Data Integration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of API-based integration and connecting enterprise applications.
- Experience with data migration, modernization, and legacy ETL transformation projects.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, CI/CD, and automated deployment processes.
- Informatica certifications in relevant products or technologies.
